i kinda agree with atlas re: people being banned and the games taking up a slot in the queue

so even though i would be down to play in these games i don’t think it’s a good idea to make them a regular thing unless they don’t count for the queue

i don’t think there would be much of a problem making this change - i saw you mentioned concern about people bypassing the queue this way but you can basically already do this by hosting an invitational and no one has really done it so it prob won’t even happen

i wouldn’t take what i said as the gospel though, there are different ways of doing it

gghana’s game was open to anyone and appeared in the MU signups list (actually i’m not sure why it was even hosted in the subforum having said this) whereas the sonic game was filled entirely here

i am pretty sure the latter is what’s intended to happen but there will probably be a few more non-folers than in games ran here

in the past (read: we’ve done 2 subforum games lol) one of the games was strictly filled here – albeit a few people had to sub in, i couldnt find FoLers for some replacement slots – and the other (larger) was filled partially here and then opened signups on MU iirc

i think itd be kinda unlikely to fill a 15+ player setup on the subforum with just folers tho tbh, given the vibe i get here. so i dont know if i could guarantee “not having to interact with MUers” in every case

but i cant imagine a fol subforum game wouldnt have, like, mostly folers
