canonically i think thk did want love and thats why their head cracked
the knight is the perfect emotionless vessel because theyre controlled by a player with no stake in the world

honestly i think just about anything you suggest i would fail at
i dropped the game for a TINY bit to get a break (i was left at NKG and Radiance)
and then i came back and got stuck at the shade soul boss for hours
