Netrunner Mafia - Game Over: Mala Tempora

I’d rather not bank on it being W/W, though, I’m going to reread them real quick.

@Squirrel2412 Is there a reason you didn’t cross earlier, when Flygon was your only voter?

It’s not lazy in the sense of being without effort but it’s so weh
Like he’s saying words and I don’t know how to quantify it except to say that I don’t believe that he believes his words will change things and so they’re just antispew

Hell yeah they have my agenda is to get my act together and find the world in which there I can get a plausible scumteam
It’s MYLO and there’s less than a day left this is not the time to dance around this is the time to see the path to victory and do everything I can to make it work regardless of the confidence I actually have

I thought flygon was town, plus we could still win if we slept or the tie randed in our favor

now we’ve either lost or it’s ninja

by voting there I’m forcing people to choose between us

assuming a town!squirrel and wolf!np world we still have at best a coin flip right

Kk, fair enough.

assuming all of town votes right and then the wolves just vote squirrel i guess??? why would they do this

correct

but there was 0 chance we slept tonight and my odds in mylo are even worse

because flygon almost certainly instantly votes me then and we lose

versus a coin flip where if we win then flygon might not vote me in mylo

supercallifragilisticexpialidocious

Squirrel’s ISO is pretty bad and he basically hasn’t had an impact on the game (or tried to have an impact on the game), but his ISO in the game that was linked is even worse. Here he at least has more developed reads.

Can’t make a comparison for Penguin, no meta on the guy. I don’t understand his solving. A lot of his posts go through one ear and out the other, I don’t know what he means a lot of the time or what he’s looking for. The post about Eliza where he claims to have been fakely pressuring her so that she would give more info is… a thing.

His EoDs were a lot of nothing. He showed up but didn’t do anything. The same applies to Squirrel, though.

It’s honestly harder than I made it seem because I didn’t expect him to vote here if Squirrel is V and he’s W.

It would be helpful if literally anyone was around.

@NinjaPenguin Hello?

I’m starting to think that no matter how bad my reads have been, I have nothing to apologize for if we lose. I mean, come on.

why not?

If you’re V, and Flygon is V, wolves just need one more villager to vote you in order to win. It’s in their best interest to stall for as long as possible.

There’s a reason I called Ashlyn a wolf for stalling. Stalling is almost always a good tactic for wolves in final X situations, but especially now (if Flygon/Squirrel is V/V). If Squirrel is W then wolves still want to stall to some extent but they also have to decide if they want to bus or not, and if they do want to bus, they can’t stall too much or else it basically won’t count.

That’s why Ninja’s vote is unexpected to me. Because if he’s W and Squirrel is V, he voted early. There’s not even anyone in the thread right now that’s doing anything.

yeah

but he might’ve thought that he didn’t have enough time to make a cohesive push
voting early could also pressure a villager into hopping onto the wagon

also
if he doesn’t think that he’ll be around for eod then he could be forced into voting early

That’s the thing, I feel like it’s the opposite? Villagers are naturally disincentivized from hammering (well, most are) or from locking the vote in any way, it’s too stressful. With more votes on your wagon it’s also

Philosophy aside, though, yeah.

Idk what happened there.

I meant that it’s also more risky for a villager to vote if there are more votes on a wagon in a locked-votes situation.
