bang bang bang bang bang
indeterminate, but you could likely take a break for a heist or two
dw the people fighting you work off the same thing
if everyone has a bit of busted shit then nobody is busted
no but it seems bad
(do tell)
yeah but how many rolls are gonna be contested like that? I assume theres still gonna be a fair amount of rolls that are trying to perform feats (like make a large jump or sneak) or interact with objects (like hack something) and those bonuses would still be huge
ideally the first heist iāll be running will be a soft test but i donāt think itād be that fun to just eat shit ~50% of the time
might lower the max if shit gets a bit tooo goofy but thatās likeky the only change iām thinking of making
i mean (to me) part of the fun of stuff like DND is that you fail sometimes (and sometimes fairly often). if u just succeed at everything thats not AS fun. i like to fail and for stuff to go wrong
shouldnt some rolls be easier + other people can back you up
alright so it uses the following stats:
when making a character you assign one of the following to each of the stats:
- d4
- d6
- d8
- d10
- d12
- d20
each die can only be assigned once
this is really good at enabling ācharacters who do their gimmick wellā
when you roll the highest value possible on your die, it explodes, allowing you to roll again. This can happen repeatedly.
Additionally, the system uses adversity tokens. You fail a roll you get an adversity token. You can expend adversity tokens to gain a bonus on your roll 1 to 1
I have tested the system and itās very good for bullshitting
yes, you can nuke somebody with 20 stored up adversity tokens
realllly like this system, might tweak the stat names a bit and use this instead
I can send you a legit copy of the handbook
i donāt think i know your discord
its the same as itās always been
