The entire Pathologic Invitational thread, a game which had about as many players as this one and has already finished, had 1998 posts in it. This is post #1304. This thread sucks, and it’s impossible to read or solve. Yes, I have contributed heavily to this problem, but that was because I’m supposed to be half a player and did not want to bother to self-regulate. That has since shown itself to be a mistake; it is very clear that we cannot keep living like this.
I… don’t know what I’m supposed to do to fix it, though, as I can’t write thought-out posts if I don’t have dense content to think about. It’s an endless cycle - the structure of the thread is impossible to solve unless you’re realtiming, so everyone keeps realtiming and making the structure worse.
On the plus side, I don’t have to be as worried about breaking my losing streak with a hydra game, which I’d have to decide whether or not to count!
