i mean what did you expect? You have been scumreading magnus all game, its only natural
The Earth as a Dodecahedron.

I’ll leave my vote off Prisma for now lol. But most of what Magnus says seems correct? It’s hard to tell. Certainly giving me weird vibes.
Anyway I’m gonna go see the Evangelion movie and be horribly confused. I will catch you all on the flopside.
Jokes aside i don’t like the way prisma handled this. I don’t feel like his reaction is natural from a townie being pushed by a fake red check, they looked more concerned with making it work from a POV where magnus is town than just taking the natural route of scumreading magnus for it and snap voting.
Average reality understander versus average Wednesday believer
Tell me all about it when you’re back.
That redcheck is on a newer player who you know to have a slower response time and is less likely to be able to defend against it good or evil. You’re going to fall back on “oh it was a red-check and they reacted badly” thing if they flip good and you’re bussing your teammate if they’re evil
I don’t believe it you can die for it
VOTE: Magnus
I’m just a time traveler, don’t worry about it.
I’ll be sure to silence you first.
The red check being on the new player is precisely why its a good idea. This would NEVER work on someone who had more experience
I disagree they’ll react the same way either way. They might slip up on the way to their defense maybe but even a brand new player knows not to admit they’re on the evil team or to hint to it in any way. They’re not stupid.
If they’re town they know you are lying because they know what they are and as far as they’re concerned you cannot be telling the truth.
If they’re mafia, they’re still going to be pushing the narrative Magnus is lying instead of dropping hints like “hi I’m mafia investigator I know you’re lying haha”
what are you possibly hoping to achieve by doing this to a new player as opposed to someone who might react with an actual discernable reaction
Maybe I could give this as pass if Magnus did not then proceed to argue why anything prisma said to defend themselves was a “scummy” way to do things. Maybe you’re applying pressure but maybe you just think town is going to follow you and believe you. Maybe I should point this out so you don’t get away with it.
Yes i agree its not foolproof, but something like this only ever makes sense on an new player. There is 0 reason to expect a player with experience to not be able to react to a unexpected role claim, while someone thats starting might just get frozen
To be clear, I’m not saying my time zone is the one true reality, I’m saying that the fact that there was and never will be no Wednesday this week is the one true reality.
There’s 0 reason to fake a redcheck on the most vulnerable player D1 and then proceed to call any defense they can muster scummy
If I’m scummy, that means you think May’s good, right? But that’s impossible.
doing it to a new town player will cause them to try anything to make themself less suspicious
doing it to a new mafia player does the same
the only thing is both end results make them look scummy
I dissagree. + i didint feel like magnus was actively calling prism scummy, at least not immdeatly. They kinda walked into it themselves.
