The execution line really makes me think you believe it isn’t a test or anything, I’m making a real claim (which feels like a slip, since a member of the Mafia would know I’m Town and you’re new to social deduction, so therefore you wouldn’t think about a villager lying, I think). Your second post goes on to say “others don’t think I’m Mafia; keep me around until I do”, which feels self-preservative.

Because my entire reason for suspecting you is i tought you froze and tried to find a way this situation works with both you and magnus being town (which a new mafia might do, since you would know magnus has to be town) but this can’t be the case if you instantly voted him anyways. Thats the natural reaction i would expect from someone who came into the thread on a relatively unfamiliar game and got instantly pushed

I don’t buss my teammates. I didn’t do it in ‘80s Wild Overhaul when Bean was on the block, I didn’t do it in AI Upick when Wazza was in the POE or Gorta was outed 3p at best.

The red check being on the new player is precisely why its a good idea. This would NEVER work on someone who had more experience

I disagree they’ll react the same way either way. They might slip up on the way to their defense maybe but even a brand new player knows not to admit they’re on the evil team or to hint to it in any way. They’re not stupid.

Prisma had barely posted until I tried that trick. Call it what you will, but it was a surefire way to force Prisma into the thread. I saw how they reacted in Mountainous when Zorvo was suspicious of them.
