iirc my claim was that you were focusing on villagers
which I guess is a semantics issue
I get yoye point
If I was a wolf I would have pushed those people though, I do not tend to defend town as a wolf. Iām very aggressive at pushing town and defending wolves as a wolf.
It would be funny but I also donāt have the luxury of time in this game to do that.
I will also reread when I get on again later.
I think they really, really want to be part of the towncore, and thatās what has been pinging me about them all game. Sometimes villagers do act like this, so itās something that I need to carefully parse out.
Itās a pity that the people I have been defending have been:
Drekāar (Town unless youāre straight accusing me of lying right now.)
Luna (Pretty much confirmed town now.)
Juliette and Era (Dead town and maybe someone I was wrong on but if Iām to trust my own legacy gut then town.)
Rune? (If weāre being technical then sure I sussed them but eventually turned around to townread them.
Ai.Mi? (After tunneling them most of a day phase?)
Dubu? (I donāt know if Iāve defended more than called them town a few times.)
Do clarify which wolves you think I am townreading.
Like, you do realise that in a 12 player game a competitor is on average likely to sus at least a few other competitors, especially in the early phases of the game?
This idea that āTheyāre sussing people Iām sure are town means theyāre not my alignmentā is stupid.
VOTE: X
More importantly I have an established pattern of availability that I occasionally break but mostly stick to that you can even easily check.
Atlas frustration has felt genuine and then their town reads made me consider I was just being a complete ass about my read on him
Previous day also ended at a different time.
I guess Atlas could be a wolf with era
But they have been pushing X this game and I already have a huge town list that I canāt see them teamed with
ā¦ā¦.
What
Iām not always right and I know that I know when I need to get off my high horse
Do you remember what I said about roleplaying being a beneficial thing for a wolf to do?
Iād argue its also a bad thing for town to do. Because essentially what happens when the slot is pressured is what is happening right now. The mask slips down and you see a character that is not the same as before. Then you have to sit there in perpetuity wondering if that genuine frustration comes from a wolf or a town and you have no reference point.
Itās fun and Iām not opposed to it, but ill point this out every time its encountered.
Also im still voting Atlas today.
At this point the players alive are:
Atlas
Rune
Dubu
Luna
Ai.mi
Estelle
Era
X
Iām trying to consider where I have possibly miscleared or ignored something here.
X is my biggest sab-read now by a lot but I donāt want to press that button blindly and give a different team an easy win.
that felt unsettlingly insightful
Roleplaying is another mask worn, if you canāt read the content of someoneās stuff past the roleplaying you should try harder.
It is what it is. I started out playing mafia by getting in-character/imitating the thinking patterns and playstyles of players i thought were amazing at this game.
I canāt decide if Estelleās weathervaning is towny or scummy. But itās annoying.
