Omega Strikers FM - Saboteurs and Dissenter Win

I didn’t remember the exact reason when writing those thoughts, because I didn’t write it exactly after reading it. It was the general thoughts of what I remembered when reading it. And “sounding cautious” sounds good but I have no idea what that even means, it “sounds good”, but that’s just it

I’m in lab so reliesbe spordiac

Did you not notice I was mistaken in my questioning, or did you not talk about that on purpose?

Ok, read through and have a summary of some thoughts/questions.

I do agree somewhat with Atlas’s take that Era was a bit defensive hence reactionary in terms of responding to posts of others when being discussed about, but it’s not inherently wolfy to me.

Twofold, I actually townread Atlas for being high engaging so far and attempting to interact with players so far in a “calmly” manner as he states and like what Luna was saying. Additionally, even though I disagree’d with his scum read on Era, I think it comes from a townie mindset when evaluating the reactionness. The other thing I like is how Atlas was really the first person to come in with a read and more importantly a scum read. As Dre’kar/Era said, sabatours are more likely to come in with pressure to townread someone originally and I think Atlas coming in attempting to get things going with a sr and getting others to chime in is townie.

Also, I was a bit confused why @Drekar scum reads Luna? I saw Estelle discuss how they also agree with Drekar’s scum read on Luna but I didn’t see them really saying way.

I think X town reading the high posters plus me based on vibe at the time was a bit underwhelming and seems like one a sabatour could easily make. Seemed like a read to go with the flow, but I will await reasoning and explanations.

I did feel like Estelle’s thoughts Drekar’s reaction towards them in thread and on Atlas’s roleplay potentially helping them get more engaged within the thread feels more like just thoughts to say without actually giving any reads/significance behind them which is slightly scummy.

I also didn’t like Dre’kar’s accusation against Atlas and the claim of “stilted” just didn’t sit right with me, but I feel like besides that, Dre’kar has been ok, though I don’t understand their push on Luna.

She is null to me for now. I don’t feel like her head is quite in the game yet.

VOTE: Estelle

See my above statement. I am/was specifically avoiding making opinions on that as I believe the waters there will move in ways to give me more data on it.

And I don’t have a strong reason to agree with any of the suspicions planted.

Also @Atlas_OS, in general, how would you want to effectively moderate and go about communicating within the thread in a “calmly manner” to effectively get reads and progress the game?

Interesting… I had a different thought from my paragraph.

From the short sentence, what gives you the impression it’s more of a “legitimate competitor”?

Noted.

(If I’m honest, the calm manner thing was mostly just to emphasise Atlas’ RP persona as a calculating figure who prefers action/process to emotion.)

Best process has already started to form. Sharing and discussion assist the League in isolating those attempting to disrupt play.

Despite your initial over-excitement, you have also participated, thank you.

So what is your current read on Era? If you had to give a GTD? You said keep an eye on them, but I want you to take a bit more of a definitive stance.

It feels a bit muddy in the waters on looking at both sides and just ending with a “we will see”

Their tone in posts 18, 30, 35 give me a vibe that they’re trying to engage players in a way to provoke discussion without it being contrived. There’s no throwaway read(s) one way or another, I sense some hunger to get things going, just feels pure to me rn

I’m not sure why you think I’d feel pressured to throw out a town read at SOD when it was mostly emotes being posted. It seems like a generic read that sounds good on the surface but is kinda lazy and not really considering the context of the game

eating helps with that XD

I’d like to discuss Dre’kar, Era, Estelle, and Luna with you. Also my X question to you.

I know you were roleplaying with Luna initially, but what is ur actual read on them so far?

What do you think of Dre’kar’s read on Luna (and to be frank, I didn’t really see why they were pushing on them).

Specifically, they felt no need to justify or explain some somewhat controversial thoughts.

I would hardly hold onto the read should it come to more tremulous phases of discussion, but for the initial opening round I’m willing to use it as a buoy to help steer my metaphorical boat.

This was in response to Estelle asking me what I meant by my reasoning for townreading Atlas and her saying I would feel pressured to throw out a townread, sigh

Drek’ar’s reason was weak but present in thread, I can attempt to find it from their communique if you didn’t notice it yourself. Over-excitement leads to missing vital information, I warned you.

I have explained my thoughts on the X question.

I am explicitly refusing to state my stance around Estelle/Luna in the belief that further reactions and information will help me form opinions on other members of the group.

Era I believed started badly, but has since improved. I believe the mistake with regards to reading Estelle’s writing is interesting in a potentially good way, and think they have provided enough to dissuade attention for now.

EraUwu

Is this a roleplay? And if not, is there a reason you are using the header of your character as justification for it?

The context does not change the read - scum do feel pressured to give early town reads. I can provide various sources on this. I can also provide an explanation for why scum would do this but I am sure that you would be already aware as to why they would feel pressured to do that early on.

Can you provide information beyond the initial thoughts you shared?
