It is less about if a competent wolf COULD, and more if they WOULD.
Think about it.
Bar me, who else townreads the actions Drek’ar has taken? A scant few. If I were not in this game the wagon on him would be worse (And afaik it’s already the top wagon.)
Why would a saboteur consciously choose to fake things in a game like this if the actions were not to be townread in all likelihood? Would he gamble on a player of my style to be in the game to shield him?
I doubt it.
Specifically because this is an anonymous game I believe that the likelihood of him choosing early to make those moves is unlikely if saboteur.

What’s your POE? You read both Drek’ar and Rune as town?
I have literally put town-reads out about 3 of the “line of misvotes” out of 4.
I work best as a mediator and towncore builder in all honesty. My best games have been building a towncore and working through the rest.
But also I haven’t had as much time as I would like. Curse of having a real life.
I have tried to put out content for people to listen to me but I just do not feel like people are paying attention to most of my thoughts.
X is primary on my POE now, Ai.Mi is then just ahead of a mix of Estelle/Era/Juno.
I ostensibly have had smaller townreads on all of the last 3 but I can’t find them matched up to others.
Drekar I heavily townread, same with you and Rune now.
Dubu I have reason to townread I’ve talked about, but I admit they’re a tier below the above. So if I were to list in order:

Lower WIM scumreads are the lazy dregs at the bottom of the sewer.
And yet I still catch myself making them sometimes.
Town often can drop WIM when they are confident and then are proven wrong. Town can lose wim when they feel their statements are being disregarded/disrespected. Town can lose WIM from entirely external to the game factors.
I am assuming a base level of competency from anyone invited to this game.
I am therefore assuming something as simple as losing WIM from randing saboteur isn’t something I will see.
I find it is often a trait of pick up games with people I’m not familiar with. A lot of the people I enjoy playing with tend to not have obvious lack of wim as saboteur.
This take has more paranoia than the board game that uses that name as a title.
Rune, Drek’ar is literally saying the fact that I’m not leading is why he does have some pause with his townread of me.
Actually orange invited me because he couldnt find enough players and had to beg someone from the dregs to play. So idk about base level of competency
