Osie's 18th Circle of Hell Game Thread - Game Over

Basically, give me a quote (paraphrased ofc) in the neighbourhood chat.

this feels ability related and i will have no part in it

I have information that makes that more likely than others that would not have that information yes, however I don’t add a disclaimer like this if I’m 100% sure.

I only know for sure that I have hidden abilities. I am probably 99% sure I am not the only one, but it’s hard to say if this would count for everyone.

No not really. If the hood is full of liars and for some reason, you aren’t doing anything to it, then, theres a giant problem.

That’s why it triggered me that you said you had none and you knew you had none, because I’d be more inclined to think scum would be aware of their abilities if there are players that are aware of all their abilities.

I still can’t get used to no quickedit

what exactly do you want me to do about that lol

Unfortunately given the setup we have, figuring out the mechanics is one of the bigger priorities.

Idk, maybe take some notes in the neighbourhood because what I’m hearing is I’m missing half of the content because people go into the neighbourhood and come out of it being insane.

Wow that’s a big neighborhood. Which makes me think that the odds that there are non-town faction/s in the neighborhood pretty high.

  1. I chose in the beginning to “defend” based. Sonce my ability keeps things safe, it’s a minor step to consider them as target
  2. My second reason was that windward was smart, and me not being sure if I was going to be completely open with everything wanted to give a smart person my info :joy_cat:
But typing that out, I realized I was implicitly trusting them, and I’m not entirely sure why?

There’s too many different angles going on at once. I think we kind of need to consolidate things a little; specifically the information department.
Throwing things out there and seeing where others take it is kind of my current goal, if that makes sense

There’s a couple questions to consider: are these faction kills, or individual kills?
Because if they are faction kills, I don’t think a faction will have differing phase lengths; so you wouldn’t be looking for an individual in that group.
If they are individual kills, making a list of claims and narrowing things down makes sense.

Well… for one, i suspect most other wincons aren’t exactly as clear-cut as just surviving/getting rid of enemies.
Or at least that was my assumption when I read that?
…also, i made a mistake. It’s not three people, it’s three factions:joy_cat:
Yeah, that prolly gonna cost me credibility

Beancat I targeted because I assumed my ability effectively just makes sure nothing happens to that person; but since they can’t talk while in there, i needed to get creative with my protection?
Beancat was in the right place for “not too inportant to game state”, “smart/involved enough to do stuff” and still having a moderate chance of getting offed, in my mind

Based explanation is in this wallpost somewhere

oh lemon fairy name isnt marked as fools gold (In the chat) so i got confused, my bad.

whoops

I suppose that makes sense regarding beancat, as they aren’t someone with a lot of thread influence as of now. Kidnapping a potential town leader would be a problem both for town and for you.

I mean yeah its crossed our mind a fair bit of times, I was concerned with the kiiruma slot but not anymore.

hmm…
well we don’t know what the wincons of werewolves/spies are yet, but if i had to guess they probably have to kill village and rebels respectively

Hm… Fair enough.
