If osi wanted rivals to just off each other, “impede” isn’t exactly anywhere near the top of what i’d expect in that case.

I can see there being multiple things you could do to impede your rival, but this one will definitely be one of them.

Wether there will be future events or things happening, or if the rivals have other stuff going on, i dont know.

It’s currently the best thing I have to go on though. It’s either that or vote sleep, which will stagnate the game even more.

But offing your rival right out of the gate kills off any chance of you getting further benefits from whatever happens, so it doesn’t, from my perspective, even seem all that helpful to yourself

makes me think that this “false start phase” without alignments/wincons/role details is the “brawl”, aka everyone voting and trying to lynch someone without good info.

i think the way it works is that all 17 invited players stay unless they didn’t reach the post-min of 7, and then after that the uninvited players fill in order of

1. who already has a role
2. postcount

Not to mention that it is statisitically likely that they’re town, so you’d literally be trading a townie for vague benefits

April second, the day upon which things are suppsed to change (this is like, in 6 hours or so if I’m not wrong?), is also still within this day (?) Phase. I think. Day phases were meant to be 48h, but I don’t know if this false start thingy counts for that, actually
