I was just reading back though this: Does “mostly correct” mean some percentage (eg. 80%, 51%) of guesses must be correct? Or does it mean all guesses must be correct, up to a subjective tolerance of “correctness” (eg. guess rb, actually jailkeeper)?

The latter; It’s a subjective matter. I generally leave things like this to my co-host.

In your given example though, the guess would indeed fail. Jailkeeper and Roleblocker are two different roles, and they are both Vanilla enough that not guessing Jailkeeper specifically feels like it should fail.

On the other hand, if the target is -for example- a Macho Doctor, then guessing Doctor is a sufficient guess. (I guess the general rule of thumb is “guessing the activation condition is less important than guessing ability result”?)
