For the record, Harpy or Mutant madness aren’t triggered by others figuring them out.

Amelia and May died because the former was trying to get themselves executed and discredit their own information, which would mean they’d have no incriminating information left on May. I’m assuming Atlas took that as enough, since in the past they talked about Harpy as causing a “direction” for suspicion which wasn’t there anymore.
