I really like the setup as well as the flavor. It’s really good.

This game is 12v4.
If we compare it to closest mountainous 15er - 12 v 3, we get one more scum, why?
Exactly becouse poison is supposed to clear one person, who is supposed to “rally” the people together, and give them better chance at hitting scum, instead of spreading around on X different wagons.
So, first thing to notice is that setup itself is built around operating with confirmed townie, not ignoring them.
Sure, you can talk with them, try to refine theirs reads.
You know, play classic vassal or instigator.
However, fighting confirmed townie over town lead and not following them is stupid. Especially since game is designed with keeping that part in mind.

im not an analyst but i am happy there is not too much mechanics and especially happy there is no conversion bullshit

Just because someone is confirmed to be town doesn’t automatically mean that all their reads are correct Eevee, although it does mean that their reads should have a higher weight than the reads of other people and should be taken into consideration while making your own reads.
popcorn is a setup where mafia gives a townie a gun and they shoot until wrong. the person who is misshot then gets the gun and it keeps going until mafia gets parity(?) or they all die

That’s the role of instigators, to refine leader’s opinon and make sure it’s correct.
Does it mean you need to fight a leader for town dominance? Definetely not.

And if you don’t want other to follow you (ergo become a leader), then what’s the point of it?
