okok i’m sorry that this post is gonna be nice after being snarky earlier. but gotta pocket u know.

you do you. i’m rusty and play like a clown but i’ve been playing mafia for a while and you have signs i associate with a good towngame. this game in particular is just fast and loud and i think you not having a voice has made this phase carry a heavier weight than it should.

i’m genuinely interested to see you at full powah.

I’m just lazy/easily distracted, but I can be an analysis genius if I focus on it. I once made a in depth post by post ISO on someone who I had been tunneling all game with 800 posts to only find that my SR was incorrect by the end. That takes a lot of effort, so I’ve been trying to balance quality and quantity.

aaahhhh i try so hard not to alt hunt but i’m glad i can get this off my chest

new mafia players are uuuuusually drawn towards certain brands of tells (some really huge examples that jump to mind: phobia of players controlling the gamestate; strong opinions on lies; etc.), right?

bean’s catchup posts have never exhibited an overreliance on what i’ll call ~newbie tells~. she’s felt like she has some idea what people are expected to focus on in modern mafia meta even before she started playing seriously.

i thought if she was new she was prolly scum being coached but her real time interactions just felt towny so w/e
