The information it gives is much less than what we would get from The Wolves dying. Also, why do you say that “a villager win becomes next to impossible”? We can execute mafia today that is not eevee (i.e. The Wolves) and still be at an advantageous position.
I can say the exact same thing about The Wolves but stronger. Why has there not been extensive discussion about the fake poison and people’s response to it? Why have multiple people come into the thread and justified their read on The Wolves on very simple terms because of the poison? The same thing cannot be said for eevee, who’s just been… weird.
@Leafia if you are so adamant that eevee should die today, then convince me.

We don’t know for certain that Wolves is scum and if we don’t get Eevee executed today, it’ll be next to impossible to do it due to the support that he’s been getting.
Because there doesn’t need to be. Wolves has been villagery enough D1 although he slipped a bit D2. I’ll admit that much and what makes you so certain Eevee is a villager? Just look at all the sup ppl or that Eevee has been getting despite how wolfy he has been. He hasn’t expressed a read on anyone besides Wind even once and is now willing to blindly sheep someone just because they’re confirmed town? That never comes from a villager. Eevee is literally our best bet to flip a wolf here.

Neither of these are good enough reasons.
Eevee has gotten support for not being the execution today not because people find them towny, but because people have all agreed that there are much better targets to go for. As for myself, I currently have them as “weird”, for the reason you mentioned (the weird reads thing), not as mafia; however, I refuse to vote someone that has publicly taken themselves out of the game for the time being. We can take time later to evaluate whether eevee’s actions are scummy, but as far as I can tell - and as far as other people can tell as well - eevee’s actions have come from eevee being eevee, nothing more.
On the other half of things, eevee is by no means our best bet to kill mafia today. As you’ve admitted yourself, The Wolves have “slipped a bit D2”. If you would take the bias of “oh they’ve had such a good D1” out - I, for one, disagree with this notion based on their very awkward read of Ivy D1 - you will see that the Wolves’ action D2 and onwards have been nothing short of mafia poisoning themselves and publicly trying to claim town credit for it, multiple times. Furthermore, when it was revealed that they were not poisoned, they just fell flat on their face and have been lackluster, while other people have defended their positions on The Wolves based on “oh they were poisoned” (see: Wazza, lol). If you are so worried about eevee having “support”, why are you not alarmed that The Wolves have been getting this much resistance?
