My home site was EpicMafia, which was primarily a chat mafia site, so we are in the habit of making snap reads in games, including forum mafia style. We’ll make numerous reads early in the game and re-eval as the game goes on. Even if we plan on pulling back during the game we just end up outing reads, even if we simply post “(name) is town” because we have massive confidence in doing so.

This was the only ok post…
It wasn’t even towny imo, it just gave me a thing I can look for and be like ‘Ok this might suit what you said’

Townreading someone just because they’re your friend so you want them to be town is literally the stupidest reason for townreading someone I’ve ever heard. If I used that reasoning, I’d always townread everyone and never wolfread everyone.

This might help you see what reads should be Eli. Here’s my reads on everyone so far.

BradLand: Scumread. He just doesn’tt feel villagery at all to me and it seems like he’s trying to shade Eli at one point.
Solic: Null. Don’t remember much from him.
Marluxion: Townlean: He seems solvy but not in the way he usually goes about it. I’m really conflicted onMarl’s slot at the moment.
Gorta: Nulltown for now. I know the interactions he’s had mean something but I’m not currently sure what they mean.
eevee: Slight townlean: This one is a bit hard to explain but I lowkey feel that a wolf wouldn’t be so blatantly antitown this early in the game.
2Wolves1Hydra (Kiiruma + wolfy): Townread: This is the read I’m most confident in to be honest. He just has a villagery energy that indicates to me that he has a real desire to solve the game.
WindwardAway: Townlean: While I feel this one could easily go either way, she’s been villagery enough for now.
the_worst: Townread: He has shown a willingness to start solving and to get the game going that I like.
Wazza: Slight townlean: I remember liking some of her posts.
Frog: Scumlean: This one I’m not.positive on because I’ve never seen Frog as town but he acted exactly this way my only other game with him.
beancat: Townread: He has a silliness aura to him that I honestly like.
lol: Scumlean: I don’t remember much from him, but what I do remember isn’t a good look for him.
Leafia: Confirmed town. I won’t explain this read. I refuse to do so.
EliThePsycho: Townlean mainly for pointing out the entire Gorta situation.
Trochilidae: Null. I don’t remember anything particularly AI from him.
Ivy: Scumlean: How she’s acting is reminding me of my wolfgame, with how buddy-buddy and agreeable I tend to be.

That post was a while after I had already pointed out how horrendous their things on Eli and Gorta were.

They had not unvoted, not like tried to reason out what might be logical to go for.
Instead kept their vote and left the situation as is.

There was no town motivation behind the post except from it being a signposter ‘UwU I’m so innocent, someone help little ol’ me because I can’t do much right now’

I’m creating accountability to make sure lower impact players, who by themselves can’t be solved easily, will have enough people with takes on them to make it a bit easier to solve later on

I see absolutely no issue with making sure the entire game is in front of me, and neither should you

When you take a very very very narrow path, it’s called taking a ‘line’. Wolves tend to take lines because it doesn’t open up the game.

I’m literally not leading people down certain paths like I would as a wolf tbh

i would have casework, mention a bunch of people I thought I could sway, and have enough of them pocketed to control the game tbh

To me, that’s usually a sign that something is off, because I’ve never scumread players where literally not a single of their micro posts made could give off some town vibes. Your main case to me sounds like, Brad bad, because they go after LHF Eli/Gorta. Eli/Gorta are LHF for a reason, so it’s not weird to me that if Brad doesn’t have much meta on them, that they would be suspicious of them… so I don’t trust your case. They gave good motivation on their first vote on Gorta and Eli did stop a wagon for no particular reason in RVS without a real explanation.

Oh and the “giving free townreads to friends” thing is done by tons of people here, especially on day 1. It’s obviously not optimal play, but town doesn’t always play optimal.
