Could I ask for the reasoning behind this post? As a hypothetical, if someone submitted a revealing Innocent Child, would that player be unable to acknowledge the existence of this role without “discussing” it? How strict is this rule?
Extremely strict. Except in yout host channel, you should act as if this was a closed setup made by us.
Now, you dont need to make suboptimal decisions to pretend you dont know your role exists, but you cant talk about it as the role submitter
If the player that randed your role is mod confirmed, full claims, or anything of that type, you are free to talk about the role (like everyone else will) but you stilk cannot claim to have sunmitted it, or talk about anything about the role that isnkt possible to know from the game information available to you
The gemeral gist of it is that who submitted what roles should not be a object of reading or discussion during the game.

What happens if someone cold guesses that you are the role submitter? Must you deny this claim, or could you say nothing?

Forcing players to paraphrase their rolecard or feedback if they want to claim means people have to analyse the actual content, rather than reading into whether the specific wording is something the hosts would actually say. If other players received the same feedback for their abilities, they could compare that to what’s been said by this player.
