On the other hand, this catches my eye: Garfooled’s following posts show a lot of self-awareness . Self-consciousness. A feeling of paying attention to their past games. They know they often vote Leafia, and so they do so, with a jokey reason.

The self-awareness is real because yes, I partially wanted to vote Leafia for old-time’s sake.
They were also doing that thing where they found something harmless, like nuto’s TR on whoever it was idk, and turning it into a SR. Which I compared to Leafia’s call on Jake’s noot claim to not be genuine when they were mafosi.

it feels like a way to sound like they’re saying something about the game without actually having to commit to any real stance. Horribly wolfy.

There was nothing to take a stance on at that particular moment and I wanted to contribute as I haven’t exactly been caught up on this game. Just giving people something from me.

I’m not a defensive player or an OMGUS player, I acknowledged that you guys had a point
I never did it before, I did solo TRs occasionally
I am reliant on meta, at least with Leafia, I told them they said something word for word once as scum
and I ask about past player experience with players I haven’t played with before

And then awareness of how that looks, and an immediate retraction. Gar feels like they’re hyper-aware of everyone else in thread, hyper-aware of how they look, and are constantly trying to paper over anything they do that might not be “ideal” to make themselves look better. It’s… weird.
