im not the type of player to have a literal crisis after one bad game and think ive become a potato who will never be good at mafia but im smart enough to take the results of the game at face value and realize what it means for my reads this game

Arctic is town in every world where Squirrel is town, as scum!Arctic could get away with having Squirrel killed because of a “perspective slip” used as an excuse.

mildly interesting that his choice of iso is atlas and not squirrel, who he’d thought was opportunistic earlier.

i also don’t like his atlas read as much on re-read.

A lot of his iso is very quick, short takes and reads. He seems to be controbuting to solving, but also just sort of floating on top of most discussions. His iso seems towny enough, but none of what he’s doing is impossible or even hard to be done by scum.

Arctic- has been doing a lot of things that are wolfy but seems more memey than with an underlying motivation. Someone said they openwolf a lot so idk.

he’s not even trying to solve arctic here; he’s just saying things he “picked up on” from other people’s posting and he isn’t even sure what that is.

Squirrel- I’ve said why I voted you, and nothing I saw that you’ve posted since really changes that. Feels “intentionally NAI”, if that makes sense.

the push has no real substance to it. he first dislikes squirrel’s post about him and votes him, but then, he keeps his vote on squirrel the entire time - and when questioned on the read it’s still completely static, even though squirrel tried to engage with him. i get the impression he just wants to have a wolfread, and so he’s pushing squirrel, but he’s too frozen to do much more beyond “having that wolfread.”

earlier, just after making the initial wolfread on squirrel, ash said the following when questioned by blizer:

And granted, I was trying to provoke in the post he quoted, but the way he phrased it made it seem like he wasn’t really provoked, but voting me on it anyway.

actually now that you mention it, I guess there is the question of “opportunistic to accomplish what?”, to which there’s not really a good answer.

it doesn’t go anywhere. he insists on continuing to vote squirrel, sure, but then nothing ever changes about that read and i find it odd.

Anonymoose- no reasoning for anything, nothing helping town, only thing keeping this from lockscum is “but surely a wolf would at least try”. Need to read the rest of their posts, but wouldn’t mind taking this out D1.

you could say he’s low-effort town, but it seems he has been trying to force some reads out, so he’s not entirely low-effort. the main issue is his squirrel wolfread and how it’s completely static with nothing influencing it whatsoever. he first makes it, then hears out blizer but pursues it anyway, and then a long time later it’s still static with some retroactive reasoning thrown in. squirrel tried to engage with ash in the meantime, but ash pretty much ignored that entirely.

Yes. It’s also possible that they had unfortunate word choice that made it look like a perspective slip.
Which reminded me of how Frostwolf was executed for “TMI” in SFoL 64.
