i have fundementally misunderstood this game since before joining it

both my first and second numbers weren’t unique so i just figured that’s the reason i was never given a chance to pick a role

i expected the choice to be offered during pre-game after all numbers were picked

rather than
picking a role you want alongside your number to try to get it
