fwiw I maintain that this was a design flaw on the host’s parts. Ignoring that the dead chat/spec chat vig is inherently bastard while this was flagged as a non bastard game and thus shouldn’t have existed in the first place, the majority of the people who voted for the vig voted to holster it.
Would that be a mechanical mistake in that scenario? Sure. Should that be followed rather than forcing it to be used so that town is prevented from making a mistake in the name of speeding up the game? Yes, I do think that the will of the majority (or plurality as need be) should be followed on those types of communal actions.
Cheers, you played well with me on Day 1 and you literally convinced me off Stella for a few days, but also the move you made connected you to stella in my eyes. I’m really proud of putting you on the spot with the stella/2w wagon because I felt like it learned me a lot.
I just wish I hadn’t literally emotionally checked out from the game so I could have actively pushed you. I don’t think I’ve cast a vote in this game since Day 1, actually.
this is a bad rule to publicly state and imo is evidence that your games are designed for village to win - the way i am parsing this is that you are mad that i made a good play that won our team the game
this is also bad and would have outed KT if he had not claimed his role, which was objectively a wolfy role to hold anyway
this was for me the last straw for this game. unannounced dead interaction is 100% a bastard mechanic and the failure of announcing this preemptively was a major failure on both the host and the reviewer’s part. not only was it dead interaction it was:
not actual majority - only one player voted for me to die out of four players who voted, and i still died anyway.
strongman - physically impossible for the wolves to counterplay this at all. again i cannot stress this enough we could not have possibly countered the dead vig at all, which was kp controlled by players who we actively chose to remove from the game.
it’s such a busted town-sided mechanic not gonna lie.
Like what did team rocket even do to the legendary pokemon? Literally minding their own business with the trainers and then boom, the fire nation attacked.
