I liked the double lives personally.
It allowed for us to send in a no-action on N1 instead of already being PLd D1 (/s)

As an outsider providing a thought for this site that apparently has Playing as Town issues

I recommend 2 things

  1. SImpler setups, Closed is fine that’s not a huge issue but like, balance a nice normalish game of mafia with minimal mechanics and let it play.
  2. And this is the big one: No more Plurality Voting. Make it so Townies need to achieve a majority by day end to eliminate someone, or there is no elimination for town that day. Forces people to work together and consolidate and vote their best conscience between options available while still arguing for their own positions.

Impression I’ve gotten is that having both majority and plurality is necessary for games to consistently function without devolving into nonsense.

I actively agree that plurality shouldnt exist, but its also a debate I will not win. Thats why I just use the majority/plurality system

The only loss of a Pokémon mafia has was because of bastard dead interaction, but otherwise all members of the Mafia are alive.
So yes: It was a sweep.

Uh… I unironically think Millium might perform well in NUF in that case.
