I didn’t think Arctic was a wolf until this post
this post implies Arctic both knows he’s being wolfy and he’s doing that on purpose which I really can’t see him doing as a villager

nothing else really stands out to me in the first 100 posts which is weird because usually I get like 5 reads off people’s openers but not this time I guess

I think arctic’s opener was fine but the burying himself post was self-aware in a wolfy way so

yeah illwei I do think Arctic is a wolf but I also think he should become obvious town by eod1 if I’m wrong so if he doesn’t I recommend killing him

I think his opener was fine but the way he handled thread pressure on him afterward felt like “ha. I’m a wolf.” which was really bad

next worst opener probably Alana because they didn’t really say anything and just left the thread after ~one post but I’m still reading so maybe they come back later

i don’t think the wolfreads on wazza are warranted at all
i think her early posts are nai at worst and the things arctic described there are literally all in her townrange
this is particularly strange coming from arctic who has misread wazza on more than one occasion and yet projects thunderous confidence about her in p#235 which is dissonant with how he should be treating her slot

this isn’t a good look for wazza
but it’s mostly just arctic shade, which also points towards t!arctic

Yea i don’t see what is scummy about Arctic’s posts. I have had plenty of games where I got scumread for trying to get the game out of fluff phase but then it ironically got the game out of fluff phase just not in the way I intended

I feel like wolves are in control of the thread and that worries me immensely

I often have this feeling and am correct, especially on day 1, but nobody ever listens to me

I think Arctic is mafia because I haven’t agreed with any of his pushes (I think Arete and Wazza are town), because I don’t think he’s been super villagery (I have high standards for him because I think he’d try hard here as either alignment but as town he’d be an easier townread), and because he called me w/w with windward for me calling her a potential like pocketer, which is what she was trying to do to both me and Arctic in the clonedvitational where me and arctic masoned

Arctic claiming he couldn’t have known what I was referring to is something I don’t believe at all and it felt like a snap response to discredit me; the only pause I have is that he didn’t actually push me harder for it, but started reconsidering my slot instead, which I’m not sure how to feel about. I actually kinda see why he would call my like-pocket statement about WWA W/W, but it feels like a bizarre interpretation coming from him, when he should know I’m stating something that could very well be true; at the very least, it felt openly uncharitable. I probably overstated the importance of that response in my snap reaction earlier, but I do think it’s AI

this post is the most concentrated effort vulgard makes to get arctic out, but it’s also the last post that he makes that ever makes about arctic

instead, he starts going after jc (probably not as a legitimate wagon attempt, but more about discrediting him) and alana

tl;dr:
arctic is still town - vulgard shades him at every opportunity he can get, which feels like he was trying to discredit arctic and diminish his thread influence
he never really fully commits to pushing arctic, which makes me think that he was mostly testing the waters to see if arctic was a viable wagon rather than attempting to bus

I townread JC until Vulgard launched what I thought was a convincing case, almost purely because I thought Vulgard was actually solving and that since he had the most interaction with JC he’d have the best read

Alright, this is good enough for me. I think if you solely look at only Vulgard’s argument against JC, it’s valid to think Vulgard was actually kinda solving. It was only after Vulgard tried throwing in pretty much the rest of the playerlist into his solve did I really think he was bullshitting and that what he was actually doing was a bunch of fake-solving.
