Nyani??

JC being town is what’s more relevant here than Vulgard being town, which is why I was trying to contrast it to Wisdom’s similar conditional read and why I thought Windward’s was actually more towny looking. Wisdom had been trying to push JC earlier, and if she was a wolf, then her trying to flip Vulgard and show that he was town (he was actually not, but from her PoV, Vulgard was) would have been used to cast suspicion on to JC.

It’s impossible for Windward to do that with the way she phrased her read. It hinged on JC being town. JC was never flipping mafia, regardless of whether Windward chose to push on JC or not. THAT kind of correctness is different than the correctness of Wisdom’s read. Could there be a scenario where Windward, as scum, simply chose to side with JC in this case over Vulgard regardless? Sure, I guess, but gut is telling me that’s not the case.

Partially.

Also partially I actually don’t think a wolf would have made that last gaffe. Which is probably the stupidest read in this thread but I believe it.
