If your 180 on me is solely because of me changing my mind on Arete then why exactly?

If you want to know why I changed my mind on Arete it’s because I have seen multiple people say that what I thought was town indicative for him was actually scum indicative for him (making up conteived reasons for reads just to seem solvy). I still don’t scumread Arete personally, but I did change him back to null.

The read just felt made up, and it’s clear that you didn’t really care about it given how willing you were to drop it in light of other people’s contributions with almost no resistance. that was just my snap reaction though, i don’t think it’s actually that bad in a holistic sense

I have no idea what this slot is doing, they are just backtracking every 10 posts and complete lack any sense of direction. This isn’t intrinsically wolfy, and I’d actually go so far as to say it could be TWTBAW especially from nutella who could just find it easier to join on some random tunnels as a wolf, but I can’t say that having no coherent worldview or direction is a good look, and it makes it hard to get a good read on the slot overall. the last post vibed villagery but still lol

Marshal has put me on the top of their last readlist, and I… ugh
I have a sick feeling I’m massively wrong on everything and wolf Marshal recognized this and decided to use me as a snowplower to kill Vul/Arete (both are town if marshal wolf) and whoever else I’m misreading, especially because the timing of her switch on me coincides with both mine and her own scumreads on vul and arete
Her reasoning to move me back was because she… backread my takes and saw she actually agreed? Like this kinda does just read as though it was a strategical move, furthered by how this level of reasoning really doesn’t justify putting me as their number one top town, like even above marl

I actually don’t think vul and arete are w/w, I feel like they’d do something preplanned but it feels like on both sides they are putting forward some lukewarm read, if one of them is wolf it’s so that they have the progression to hard buddy without scaring the other if the wolf ends up getting townread by the other, but also not get caught overextended if the town thunderdomes the wolf

I should probably be more constructive with the less than 50 posts I have left, since I don’t really plan on being around for EoD (but might be, we’ll see), but I’m not really motivated to at the moment and have other priorities.

I’m still not sure what to think of Kyubey. I guess I’ll make the assumption that they’re an actual player, but considering they literally only posted to ask for cliffnotes, ask why they’re being assumed not to be a player, and dipped, that doesn’t exactly scream “this is a real slot” to me. I’ll cut them some slack if they post more before EoD, though, but they’re like a big fat null because they literally haven’t said anything so far that I think has contributed meaningfully. I don’t even believe they claimed neut so much as kind of coasted off the host example, so I’m throwing that take out the window anyway. But the fact that they’re not really doing much is detrimental to them, whatever alignment they are.

Vul never wolfread arete, and was pretty dismissive on my point about their post on JC until like the fifth time I pointed it out
FTR I don’t know how good they actually are at reading each other, my best memory of them is when they tunneled each other as V/V in a 17er last game lol

With a playerlist like this in this game, tbh I could see something similar happening if we aren’t careful (or maybe even if we are). But that’s also why I said to JC I wouldn’t be so confident about reads early on in the game, given who’s in this game.
