like if i said “yeah my rolecard is rainbow”, you might then say “wait is anyone elses rolecard rainbow”. at which point everyone else would say “no”.

i subscribe to the philosophy of that if someone claims something verifiably contradictory then the fact they are claiming something impossible should be looked at first to decide the result rather than the “why”
the problem is this case is not verifiably contradictory
for instance, marl made a statement which implies his role has abilities related to flavor
in a different vein, if flavor is randed, then it is entirely possible that i got this flavor/role combo by coincidence
this is different to your example in which the town faction is known to have a rainbow color (i’m guessing that is what you are saying)
