I actually think Atlas is right here

It would be correct to say “I am smarter than you” instead of “I am smarter then you” but in the specific context of Atlas’s first line, which was a question, the word “then” is correct because it’s in response to the prior line - a grammatically correct version would look like this:

Is that forum user you?
If so, then yes I am.

don’t have an English degree or anything but I’m p sure that’s right

You realize I was refering to Isolde’s “then”, right?
That’s why there was “also” in my post.

Also suggests that I am suplementing theirs post with some additional content, in this case I’m supplementing Atlas comment about “Fourm” in “Are you smarter then a Fourm User?”.
