The DM threw this monster against my party yesterday in D&D. It had an interesting mechanic of rolling disadvantage unless someone was nearby, in which case it’d roll advantage.

We kept rolling Nat20. Only one person went down - the combat bard - and I stablised them with a healer’s kit or something immediately.
