Lawyers are always considered to be under oath while in court. Attorneys are not allowed to lie or present a witness that they expect to tell lies, either. Possible consequences can include: reprimand, fines, jail time and disbarment (revoking a lawyer’s licence to practice law). Don’t let it known by your opposition that you’re managing witnesses to lie behind their back.
