if you want to midmax into intel, persuasion, and charm, you need to go 2 2 2, not 555
if you want max wisdom, max deception, and max charm, you need 5, 5, 2

you have three places to put stats into, the bigger number doesnt necessarily mean better
theres two sides of each scale. the closer to the number to one side, the worse that stat is

Wisdom — Intelligence
Deception — Persuasion
Intimidation — Charm
If you want maximum charm, you want to put a 2 in, for example
You could always write up a character bio first and then tailor your stats to suit them

As a numerical value. It only affects dice rolls, and choosing a higher number doesn’t mean it’s better

Let’s pretend you’re investigating a crime scene. As two far out examples, if you’re trying to discern about how long it would take for a person to die from the consumption of a specific poison, I would roll for intelligence. If you’re trying to determine which direction the killer would run afterwards, I would roll for wisdom.

Litten. It’s like doing tug of war, there’s 2 stats at different poles in each other. The closer you are to a stat, the less likely you’re like the stat on the opposite pole.
