Someoneā€™s ability learns one of two results:

  1. Your target can kill.
  2. Your target canā€™t kill or already killed.

(I was under the impression that the action failed if the target already killed)
(Specific wording in this post is made up)

Failed kills still count as kills.

If a player performs the factional kill during the same night that Someone investigates them, they learn ā€œYour target canā€™t kill or already killedā€.

so basically the mech isnā€™t clearing at all

First of all, some are pure mech, others are simply frustrating socially.

Like good god, I think I have community stressed why we should never have a day alignment check as ability for town or about any faction.
