Killing Jarek just puts Bean in the spotlight. If I jailed Jaiden last night, which everyone expected, meaning she’d neither get attacked or carry the kill, it makes Bean look bad since Jarek was planning to shoot them that. That’s the opposite of towncred, that’s the reason we have to be on the same team.

You might’ve had a point if Bean was solo, but we indisputably know that Mafia has a total of 2-3 members alive, leaning towards the latter number.
But I’m interested. How could it have been played off, to the point where it’s worth attempting the kill on Jarek? Just have a vocal, trusted deepwolf tell everyone to vote elsewhere for some reason?
