i don’t want to be mean but my interpretation is that they just do not have a very good idea of what things are alignment indicative rather than being wolfy. i read their post about garfooled and i. it just felt like more of a case on why to not townread garfooled than a case for them being a wolf
why? [unless you are just sheeping may, reading onwards it may be that, if so nvm]
unrelated to this specific post - it feels like you are kind of playing to… prevent people being townread, just reading over your garfooled and abigail stuff. which is a strange approach to take in a game where the numbers are very town sided. like there are two wolves in an 11 player game. I don’t understand why you are voting garfooled just because you don’t have a reason to townread him at a stage before votes have even been consolidated. I don’t actually know if you are a wolf for this but I guess I just want to signal that it doesn’t seem like an effective strategy to me. my townread on garfooled probably biases me a bit here too but. yeah
But uh yeah your execution in that game, at least from where I saw it, was almost all us exploiting the fact that you were tilting other townies. By saying they should be able to read you, that you deserved to be townread, you frustrated them, preventing them from coming to the conclusion that… yeah you were pretty much obvtown. People aren’t rational actors. Mafia is as much a game about appealing to other people, arguing to them, as it is coming to the right conclusions in the first place. You know that. You know much more than me. I just know how I wolfed against you that one time. And that’s how
This probably isn’t really the place for this it just came to mind and I don’t have much of a filter right now cause sickness. Anyway
They just sound kind of awkward to me, it’s all tone and vibes. They’re clearly supposed to sound spontaneous, and if you’re town, they probably were, but something about them just feels advance-thought-out to me, like you were on edge about what to post.
ok but like what about them feels awkward?
take a post and point out the words that were awkward, and rephrase it in a way that looks truly spontaneous to you
I’m sorry, professor, if you’ll see my earlier email, I am currently ill from COVID-19 and cannot complete any assignments right now. Please send them to me after class so that I can complete them in my own time.
These are the three posts that stood out to me as awkward. I don’t know how I could rephrase them… they’re just, like. It’s imperceptible. It’s a texture behind your words. It’s all vibes. Subconscious pattern recognition. You feel very pushy about this.
i can’t give a definitive answer to this because it’s correct and she has the right reasons but i don’t know whether she’d read me well as town because i’ve only played one game where she was town (and i was a wolf). every other game she’s been the wolf and i’ve been town. kinda crazy
yes i do. but i’m familiar enough with may to know that they can fake long explain-y reads as mafia. it’s quite literally their forte as a wolf. previously they couldn’t really fake their all over the place-ness as mafia and it was easy to catch them from how methodical she was playing. but now i’m not so sure how to read her. maybe still from engagement, idk
also I laughed at the uwu’ification of the posts lmao
FAM, I believe? Last time they wolfed in a game with me, at least. The last real game you can backread for real is PAYOR KRC:
My bullshit continuous meta “background thoughts read” on Garfooled is just based off of one… maybe hte firsrt game I played with them where I wolfread them the whole time but managed to find them town later on cause they were just so consistent in their principles. And I’ve extended that into a continuous attempt to read them over many games which I don’t think has failed yet but mostly because I keep randing wolf. In those games.
