I can look elsewhere but my vote is staying. Ill do more when im free, since rn I can only be on for a tiny bit.
Agree with this post FTR.
Calls post townie
Ignore cores core lements
Still hasnt responded to my read on her
still hasnt responded to accusations about why her read is false
Proceeds to vote me
You cannot tell me this is town
So you think they’re good, I presume?
No lol.
Why do me and cait have the same reads except on eachother but cait is so obviously scum
If cait is townie ftr actively ignoring me and all of my posts, while at the same time calling others out on responding to selective things is playing a poor town game. Cait is either silly town from my pov or evil, and its borderline disrespectful to call them the former.
Im going to ignore this for a bit though and look into others; spec Psyx rn since I think they’re my top scum read / lean aside from cait.
If I try to reply to that I shut down and then you get 0 posts from me. Why am I the one that needs to reply anyway? You already locked me in as scum. Literally what good does it do? It’s not like you need to convince me that I am mafia, I already know that I’m not
so far I’ve just been ignoring him because I usually wolfread him regardless of his alignment in long form (but I’m actually pretty good at reading him in turbos) and I did ML him d1 in my last game here so uh I kind of want to not do that again out of principle. but I want to know what you think he’s done here that he doesn’t do as a wolf?
Windy was my third suspect but even tho it’s Arctic seeing it I’m glad someone saw the same on Windy that I saw early game when I didn’t sus Windy and now I feel like I was just right earlier on town!Windy
the first issue, and one more likely to be wrong, is that their reasons to push people feel very surface level - especially his reason for pushing windy for not explaining her votes. it… kind of boils down to policy when you think about it, but the fact he’s gone this far with it may mean it’s arguably towny, and i’m more inclined to think that this point means nothing especially because i wrongly suspected guava in the last game we played together for suspecting people for surface level reasons. it still feels wrong but i can’t exactly say it’s condemning given i’ve seen him do it before
the second issue is that i don’t think their mindset with voting people who haven’t towntold (garfooled) really tracks with how they’re handling caitlin. guava’s early posts about caitlin were defending them from mine and others accusations relating to her posts early in the game, but this posting read like more of an attempt to shut down people scumreading caitlin than townread her (and guava confirmed this himself by answering that he only townreads caitlin because he thinks garfooled is a wolf). now the issue i have with this is that i cannot understand why he has an issue with people voting caitlin, who he doesn’t actually townread, when his justification for voting garfooled early on was that garfooled hadn’t towntold yet. he clearly thinks it’s fine to vote people who aren’t towny early, even if they aren’t actively wolfy, so i don’t understand why he takes issue with garfooled voting caitlin. and, contrary to what psyx said, i feel this whole thing is more likely to come from TMI that caitlin is town and using it to push garfooled. i also disagree with the consensus take that guava’s defence of caitlin was towny, but i have an inherent bias against posts which shut down other peoples reads without explaining why that player is actually the opposite alignment, which is what guava did, and tracking his caitlin townread it really does just seem to be “garfooled is pushing them” which just feels wrong to me at this point of the game
i was going to vote him but like i said in paragraph 1 i kind of feel like the way he’s handling his read on wind feels like his towngame so i don’t actually know
