First, you come to a read of Marluna backwards. It looks like you wrote it from the perspective of Marluna town being what you wanted. I think this because I do not believe you can think about the reasoning for more than five seconds without realizing that it shouldn’t lead you to a conclusion that they are town . In fact, the reasoning itself should give you insight about what type of player Marluna is, NOT what their alignment is. And as well, going on the sidelines standing around awkwardly is something I imaigne most people would believe is wolfy.

Secondly, your second post implies that your read on Marluna was more to try to establish a characterization of Marluna, but I fail to see why you mentioned your read on Marluna if it was a characterization.

Your argument essentially boils down to three major components.

1. The read on Marluna appears to be faked.
2. The read on Marluna apparently conflicts with the standard causes for suspicion? I don’t really care about this point so I’ll dismiss it.
3. Something something contradiction, my thoughts not running onto paper together in a way that’s fluid enough for others to understand.

In order to strike a read on Marluna, I could do one of two things: hard accuse her, which is stupid when she had only discussed engineering up until this point; or try to understand her process. She wasn’t coming across as extremely confident in the thread to me, and that felt honest because I think a wolf is more likely to fake aggression in their entrance to garner easy townreads. Marluna didn’t do this, but then again; she wouldn’t have seemed like the player to do that anyway, if I didn’t vaguely remember her loud D1 activity from 80’s Wild Overhaul. So I asked for her thoughts on this read, and she very honestly didn’t immediately latch on gratefully.

This read was warranted at the time, and I’ll stand by that. I haven’t commented much on anything after that point, and I probably won’t for a few hours. Marluna failing to question this further townread is NAI, given her playstyle FMPOV, but she did make this post which looked like she could’ve been taking liberties.

I think I’m having internet troubles. Anyway, wolves love credit, so taking a townread on board would be preferred over dismissing it. Aggressive wolves tend to challenge these “baseless”, “meaningless” reads, but the purpose of my initial Marluna post was to establish my viewpoint on her as a more passive player. If Marluna wasn’t a wolf, she didn’t come out of the gates raring to go; she might have also accepted my read as it is.

I just don’t like Litten’s plans…
It just waste the potential of each PR.

Vigi is forced to shoot N1, with almost no information.
Fool just loses all of his power. (A vig won’t shot in the obv PR category, and as Litten already told mafia won’t do that either.)

And Hider becomes 1-shot sheriff, halfing his functionality. Basically. Even if hider knows X is town, 1) there is literally no way to prove they are the hider. (The only sure-fire way to know it was a hider death, if they are 4 deaths in a single night. 2) mafia anti-claim can shoot the hider, when they say they are hiding behind X, to frame X… (mafia has two less spots to anylyze to find soft or hardclaims, so they have a bit easier job in this regard.)

Also if everyone who isn’t a hider claims they are not the hider and PR acts obvious, mafia will know, who they can shoot without any consiquenses.

The fact that Garfooled put effort into correcting Leafia as to May’s identity also seems strange. It feels like they’re attempting to look helpful to May.

This just seems reachy to me. I can’t see how a thought like this just pops into a villagers head trying to make reads when they see someone correcting another person

Everything in Sulit’s response up until here (about May’s behavior) is NAI imo. Maynus is just playing along with the bit and trying to act like Magnus, with a certain degree of a success. Although, Maynus putting suspicion onto Garfooled is relevant to one of their comments later down

Litten’s opening post was very clearly thought through before the game began, so I don’t think the details of it are alignment indicative. The fact that he went through with posting seems slightly Town to me, but given he did this speculation in the signup thread, too, it isn’t definitive.

This seems slightly weird to me. Not super bad as I can see how they’d come to this, but I feel like given they came to that it was slightly towny Litten actually posted about it that they would have concluded the post was more town indicative than not if that makes sense

From where I’m standing, this looks like Maynus”s interpretation was that Litten had prewritten his opening post, and while it’s slightly towny (meaning more towny than not) that he followed through with posting it, such an act isn’t exactly clearing. You aren’t really disagreeing with Maynus here?

This is a weird conclusion because it suggests Maynus had a stronger sense of distrust on Garfooled’s slot than what was initially expressed. I haven’t personally checked the votecounts at that time, but if a quickly growing wagon is indicative of a non pure wagon, and the person you suspect is being pushed, it’s a logical conclusion to make. I have a different gripe with this post than you do
