Wait, extremely dumb question: when you say ā€œall the contestantsā€, do you mean the sixteen pre-loaded ones or the seven people playing this game?
Asking because Iā€™d assumed the former.

the idea is that your rolecard is public but you have a roundsā€™ notice on other playersā€™ actions affecting you

so how about -

anything that targets the person with the power goes through one round after the cost is paid (it will be revealed when action resolution is posted) (the cost is immediately paid as normal)

and then on the next round the person who has the power has an opportunity to perhaps defend against those delayed attacks, etc, perhaps not if they canā€™t

basically like that immolate shield from last game where it just delayed the attack be one round

is there a problem with that? was the idea something else?
