It’s not true, but It’s better to use big punch, when your minor powers influence your basic attacks negatively.
(With low energy and great minor powers basic attacks could become more viable than big punch.)

@Squirrel2412 was there any reason why you took poison Ivy instead of flat weakness for yourself? (Getting rid of flat weakness is cheaper than getting rid of poison ivy, especially since you haven’t used basic attack last round.)
