I’m not upset at you. Being misread is always going to be a little frustrating for me because of how poorly I’ve been doing as town as of late. I do my best to not let it show, but I won’t always be perfectly successful. It’s not about you, and it isn’t personal. You are reading much more emotion into my posts than there is behind them.

The thing is that you have literally never townread me in a game unless I’ve either AtEd or made massive changes to my presentation and playstyle in an attempt to disguise mt identity, as in the anon game. No matter my alignment, you tend to find things I say often as town scummy, and things I say commonly as wolf towny. This is fine on a personal level! I don’t dislike you for it! The things you commonly use as tells are just turned around from my typical behaviour.

But if you’re misreading me in a game, and that’s a point I think will benefit me to make, I’m going to say it. “You frequently misread me” is an argument that is normal to make. You frequently misread Zug, my hydra partner, as well.

I try very hard not to ever say anything as town that I wouldn’t be comfortable faking as wolf, and vice versa, because I think it breaks the game. Emotion is no exception. When I say, as I have said in every towngame before even Stellaris, that I do not intend to AtE or trust tell, I mean it. I was confused that you interpreted what I said in that game as such. I didn’t look the gift horse in the mouth, but… like… when I try to make clear “I don’t mean to AtE this is not a trust tell I would fake this emotion” and then you don’t believe me and get burned by it, that’s not my bad.

The only thing that causes me actual annoyance - not genuine discomfort, but mild annoyance - is when what I’m saying is misinterpreted or I think I’m being read for bad reasons. I get annoyed when people townread me for being bad at the game, I get annoyed when people scumread me for things I know are tells and know not to do, and that’s just because I feel like my skill at the game is being mildly prodded at. But that’s just annoyance! You’re not obligated to Not Annoy Me! Feel free! It’s morally fine! I’ll express annoyance, but you don’t have to feel guilty about it. It won’t kill me.

Like I said then, tutuu, my intention was not to try to guilt you out of pushing me, it was just to call you wrong, and make the case that you’re not habitually good at reading me. I think this not only because you scumread me in towngames, but because you often townread me off of incorrect pieces of evidence when I was scum (like what you interpreted as AtE/trust-telling) or even scumread me correctly but off of things that I see as NAI for me.

I think… you are reading much more guilt-tripping into what I say than I intend. I think you have done that a lot in the past, too. I promise, cross my heart, that it is my policy to never say anything as town that I wouldn’t as scum, and that I do not ever intend to specifically guilt trip you or anybody about scumreading me. I just want to call you wrong!

i think these posts are. really different in tone. may as wrongboy seems to be mildly annoyed, and posting decently foundational reads and explainations about being scumread, but may in his scumgame was really nonchalant to a t. even if the stakes were higher here, that would only be a slight difference, may getting executed would be a rather large problem in the other game aswell but they’re playing it off, whilst here they’re significantly seemingly annoyed. may scum has an easier time being pushed, even with more reasoning that would be annoying, then may town does, even against people who are Trying Harder. either way, its a really big show, and idot/wrongboy are unlikely to be w/w, especially with this

I’m a town non-consecutive “soul-scrying” witch.

I passively am unable to be anticlaimed.
Had a 1 shot day ability which let me reveal my card to a player.
And a night ability to target 2 players to redirect player 1 to player 2, but I’d learn a few letters in player 1’s role name and make them unable to be anti-claimed.

Due to Derps removing my “soul-scrying” modifier and not my fucking non-consecutive one…
I’m now a non-consecutive “weak” witch.
Derps tried to help me thinking that removing my modifier would remove non-consecutive but it fucking removed the cool part of my ability.
