Reading people, at least my style of it, has a lot more to do with understanding their mental states than just… knowing how they’ve played mafia games before. Jaiden’s game here looked nothing like her play in the JK9, or like her play in Starcraft, but knowing what I did about how she reacted to those games made it a lot easier to go “oh, she could be scum here”.

I don’t understand you as well as I do her. I still understand you better than the average player in the game, and I do have a still-existing townread on you - claiming Jaiden was the “only player in the game I could read” was hyperbole - but it’s certainly difficult for me to get anything good on the remaining players, given a lot of them I don’t know at all.
