I mean with the fact that we can have the NK just spreading the NK status by passing the status on during the night and dying… I do think we’re gonna have to be very judgemental of every night death from now on that isn’t flipped.

Passing on the NK status seems really helpful for the NK.
Heck, if they actually pass it on to a mafia member then at most mafia just knows one of their teammates betrayed them… but what do they do about it?

Do they out them and sacrifice themselves for town’s sake? Probably not.
They just wait to become NKs themselves.

And for a while they probably don’t even kill their mafia teammates, they let them kill some players while the parasite also kills players to thin the pool quicker :upside_down_face:

If the ‘Host Transfer’ 1 use is shared between Parasites then yes.
But someone “becoming Parasite” doesn’t tell me whether of not they’d get their shots back.

I guess it’d be too OP if they do.
So mafia would have to try and vote their teammate out without their teammate exposing them.

The thread poster still has an option to come out and be able to infinitely protect themselves by being made into my serf.

This is to ensure no use of the grant root access thing. Especially since the grant root access is basically a confirmation chain that town has access to… and kinda needs considering the fact we seem to have a parasite, so clearing is gonna be hard

if that was the exact ability the kill function would probably be meaningless because you could kill a single target or kill yourself and make new NK (which could do the same thing)

All I know is I’d rather not have my role be f’d with be it via the root access person or the parasite.
If I get made into either of those it’s gonna be apparent and I’m gonna have to prove I have access to thread posts or I’ll just die.
