Let me put it this way:
Around the time before I made Town Tenacity, we didn’t have many players to work with. Most players either had to sub out, or got modkilled for doing stupid stuff. (A rather uncommon case.)
So, to prevent further annoyance, I designed a role that “fixes” the issue… by entirely removing them from the game. Still, I had to replace the empty slots with something, and “coincidentally” the spectator community was often very much alive while making bets on how the game would proceed.
So, in my madness, I combined the two and “fixed” the issue entirely! …ignoring whatever complications may arrive from the “new solution”.

Well I guess i could stay but i hope i wont be expected to put in heavy effort since im like not inning as a main player

If Town Tenacity’s in play, then any player supposed to be swapped out instead get replaced by NPCs. Each NPC is controlled by one spectator, and they can’t communicate in any other way other than voting. (I don’t recall if I had given the drones further restrictions.)
Needless to say, you really don’t have to do much as a spectator. (Once a couch potato, always a couch potato.) Even the wincon is essentially that of a Survivor.
Not sure what Geyde did to my role though. Anything could happen, really. (Plus, there are also other “worst roles” that are supposedly worse than my abomination.)
