IIRC only 50% of all players need to claim before game ends with Lying Darkness victory.
This gathering of victims isnât even worth it; The game can (and most likely will) end in Day 1, just like Rokugan FM. Geyde may be âsufferingâ, but it will not last long.

Yes. One more victim before we can recreate Rokugan FM and end the game on Day 1.
FYI, this is one of its wincons:
Half of the game (rounded up) has claimed at least one of the following: Ability, Family, Clan, Flavor, Path.
It doesnât say to what degree the claim has to be. If you are some BS-level Doctor, then -assuming RAW- youâre screwed the moment you claim to be Protective. Also, since non-Rokugan roles doesnât have the extra traits (e.g., Family, Clan, Flavor, Path), that just means that anyone who claims to not have any of aforementioned traits in public would contribute towards D1 Game Over as well.
Simply donât trigger it.

The only way to âsafelyâ play this game is by not mentioning abilities in the slightest. I know I have been saying how I love the motto âAbandon mech; Return to mountainous,â but this ainât it.
My games donât force their players to not claim anything; They all simply give the players the option to play mountainous while enticing said players to not play mountainous.
This game on the other hand does actively punish any non-Mafia for claiming anything. If we look at that wincon with RAW, then the claim doesnât even have to be legit! Doctor could claim to have the ability of a Vigilante, and they would still count! (âŻÂ°âĄÂ°)âŻïž” â»ââ»

The entire gimmick of the cancelled Piercing Light FM was to let players play a game with a dead Lying Darkness. Because it can still win, even if it is not even controlled by any player!
