CRich’s ability prevents night feedback. Knowing when my project is done wouldn’t be considered night feedback there since it was during the day (might not even count as night feedback during the night since it’s really feedback that happens whenever a project is completed)
ok nvm. this is possible,
…wait the fact you didnt receive feedback would actually be completely normal since magnus roleblocked you and could only block town so you wouldnt have seen him visit lmao
He doesn’t roleblock
…ok nvm
Refresher:
I love this.
Let me read up, clarify a few errors.
My reasoning for targeting Jarek last night was this:
I thought I was most likely going to die. Magnus should be protecting Neon and aliens should assume that. They can’t kill Magnus last night. So they should target me or Jarek.
If I die, who cares who I target. If Jarek dies, I get points for aliens visiting him, even more points if they’ve visited him multiple times for whatever reason. If Jarek is alien, I get good points.
So would aliens really target Neon knowing that Magnus should absolutely be defending them? Why not target me or Jarek?
If aliens can redirect, redirecting magnus and taking out a conf town is probably the best move yeah?
This scenario doesn’t fit wonderfully with an arsonist style alien factional kill. But in that scenario, I have to be targeted by CRich n2 for Magnus to be town I think, and Magnus saved me from the arsonist who exploded 2 people.
hmm actually if magnus was redirected by aliens on n2 they wouldnt have known his role because he claimed after n2. so it would have been a more random redirect? would actually make more sense than if they did know what magnus’ role did
We really have to figure out why no NK the other nights to figure out what’s going on here.
If Min is arsonist he could claim he took out Litten and Magnus saved me
…wait in this world it doesnt have to mean he got redirected n2 this would only apply to a town!frink is redirector-world.
the ‘scum intended to redirect magnus from neon’-theory could make sense
although why didn’t they just kill magnus?
although why didn’t they just kill magnus?
Because Magnus isn’t conf town by any means. He’s been shaded quite a bit.
The Hosts did not yet respond, but it doesn’t matter.
…but on odd nights you would only be able to target town and on even night you are only able to target scum?
On odd nights I prevent my target from attacking or being attacked if they’re Town.
On even nights I prevent my target from attacking or being attacked if they’re an Alien.
Therefore, if I targeted Rad last night (n3) and he’s Town, I would’ve visited him, but he should’ve seen that (and he wouldn’t be lying, because he’s Town).
Which means a contradiction has arisen, and I’m not sure from where. If I’m being constantly redirected by someone, that sucks.
actually scum redirector makes little sense here because they would have to redirect Magnus to themselves and miss out on a nightkill
Not really?
Redirect me to any other player in the game.
Frink would have to be exactly a redirector (and i do think this would make sense with his reads) and redirected it to the last mafia
but then again he never cc’d when Magnus claimed the roleblock on Gyrlander and then later actually voted for Gyrlander. the right move would be to cc it ASAP and say who you redirected to, whcih he didn’t. I guess he could have redircted it to litten but then again this wouldn’t explain why no kills.
I’m sorry, but I don’t think FRink’s a Town Redirector. I don’t think any Town Redirector would’ve stayed quiet this long, or fakeclaimed. If there’s a redirector in play, it’s Alien-aligned.
Magnus was on rad but rad self checked and didn’t see Magnus on themselves and now Magnus is saying that it’d only have gone like that if they were wolf? I think I’m horribly wrong
I was on Rad. Rad self-checked, saw nobody. My ability only worked on Town, so I should’ve visited Rad. But I think Rad’s legitimately good, so we’re trying to resolve this paradox.
actually even in a scum Magnus world he would have had to willingly decide not to kill anyone
Please, never again. Not after ‘80s. Not after four failed factional kills straight.
Magnus’s role, the more I read over it, the more I think it could be 3rd party.
What if Magnus wins depending on which phase we’re in. If an odd-day/night, he’s Loyal to aliens and wins if aliens win that night. If it’s an even-day/night, he’s Unloyal and wins if town wins.
Interesting concept, but… wouldn’t that count as conversion, which is banned according to the OP? Or not at all?
you mean the variant of lost wolf where they dont know their teammate?
A rotating wincon would require not knowing other evils.
Otherwise I’d just go “these people are evil, kill them now!” According to Rad’s theory, I’d be town-aligned right now, and with one living evil I’d have nothing to hide.
Unless there’s more than one, in which case I go all in with the idea to pull off a bunch of fancy shots instead of delaying and aliens reach parity tomorrow. Either way, does it really make sense?
can like Magnus and rad both explain all of their night actions up to this point so I can understand what’s happened
N1 (Loyal): Achromatic.
N2 (Unloyal): Gyrlander.
N3 (Loyal): Rad.
no one other than magnus claimed protective and if there is one they really should tbh
That’s exactly what Leafia tried to pull, if you remember. “I’m the only person claiming protective, yada yada.” It’s not really a defence unless everyone else is claiming not protective.
My reasoning for targeting Jarek last night was this:
I thought you self-targeted?
I thought you self-targeted?
The project skill I mentioned is passive (there are active ones though). I target people to gain “genes” and after a certain number of genes I finish projects. Then I pick new projects and keep finding genes.
Yeah I get WIFOM. You still gotta make a decision though and aliens should assume occam’s razor here that you protect Neon if you’re town.
…Min is arsonist and couldn’t kill N2 then did double kill and made it look like they are vig?
Yeah that’s the idea here
