If you are an ST and give a player an ability that will instantly disable if they dont visit someone. and you choose to give that player 4 names with an outed neutral in it for their info. it means that the moderator thinks that information is important enough to share.
the option you are pointing at is one of the three reasons why Zone pointed out PoD but again it is complete meta so take it with a grain of salt

i would think zone would not do that if he sees town in a tough position. he is a jokester but not a menace

If a player wants to remove their mechanical importance and I scumread them, it’s a no brainer for me to vote them?
On the bad side, we lose a town, on the good side, we kill a wolf.
If we had switched from tutuu onto someone else, we have a good chance of killing an important town over one that is claimed.
Why do you think people claim when they’re top wagon? It’s in an attempt to save themself for mechanical importance. Tutuu put themself into a position where they had none.
Also, your post indicates I was keeping my vote on them, I literally tried to kill the openclaimed neutral instead, while I still suspected tutuu, I wanted to give them more time before they even claimed.
I’ve played in games where he was a fellow player though and was even his cohost once and who says town is necessarily in a bad position right now?
