it looks less like a series of unfortunate events and more like a series of very specifically timed things that happened that slim your way into this vaguely working
ok but think about it from the perspective of how these actually resolve
normally, a night action can’t give someone else the ability to use a night action in the same night
you could’ve asked magnus
its hard to believe you didnt ask them a few questions, and its very noteworthy that you would’ve annouced when they would’ve been revived
and you claim may didnt know this
this is semi understandable if somebody didnt spend 24h looking around for what their role did
but it does make the situation look more. fishy.

the actions are prevented on a kill, yes, but you don’t have people submit an action, in that night, as a result of another action someone submitted that night

you see, there was this. courtier interaction in a previous botf. the pithag was written to. yes. change the targets role immediately, so they knew they would act
but that doesnt work with the courtier, you see
it could drunk the role at the last second and the pithagged player wouldnt know
now i had then ruled that out that a pithag couldn’t be inplay because of that. thought the hosts forgot about that
well, they forgot about that thing existing entirely, and they put them both in because of it
didnt matter of course, but it confused me to no end before the game ended
oh I think I see where we view this differently
I was viewing it as “the hosts process all the actions at night, and then apply the results at the start of day”
which doesn’t have this confusion
