I’m curious to see how this game will go faction wise. I know enough about the lore, but I’m excited to see what the town and scum factions are titled.

It is franchise about vampires, Bloodlines 2 is in development and the most notable games are Redemption and Bloodlines 1, which are both roleplaying games.
Redemption is more traditional and Bloodlines have FPS elements.

TL;DR vampire the masquerade is from an extended universe called the world of darkness and in the series you traditionally see vampires trying to hide from the rest of humanity because if humans knew they would hunt them to extinction. Traditionally there are different vampire factions and clans that all have different abilities and goals (it’s also a bit like DnD in terms of the tabletop game)
