@Magnus But I am honest with you, I have missed hundreds of posts anyway. We’re now at 4K and the information is already overwhelmed. I think it’s suffice to say it needs re-evaluation.
Players like Zorvo is the proof that doesn’t adapt to the current ITA deaths. Not to mention still on ‘fence’ despite using finger of suspicion on me, not voting me.
I dunno what to make of this. It’s an awkward entrance, talking about something irrelevant and trying to cobble together game info off that, but without an actual vote, it’s too noncommittal to really… mean anything.
This reads like Wazza’s boosting a villager’s scumread on a townie, and also is another point in the favour of PM/Zorvo’s slot. A villager scumreading a villager for scumreading a villager. Wolf heaven.
Giving this “advice” to Guava reflects well on them - it’s kinda, like… emotional advice, “make this game tolerable” advice, that I think wolves are more likely to deliver publicly to townies to look like they’re contributing.
This interaction has a texture to it. Wazza states Zenon’s not towny like an objective fact, but doesn’t really go on to push her at all, which I don’t like. It sounds partnery.
“Clogging up posts” is the kind of argument I think I see wolves making against villagers, since it’s based on something easy and objective. Literal numbers. It feels like,,, the kind of TMI-circumventing read you see from wolves a lot, going “ugh I know this person is a villager, how do I push them, oh I know this is objective”.
Pulling on Arctic for credibility against Zenon also looks like trying to get a misexecution on somebody else’s credit. So far, all of Wazza’s interactions look like they’re with townies; that would mean she’s either ignoring her scumbuddies or they’re just not here, and we know for sure at least Aro was low-posting as wolf here.
Like, “I wasn’t even planning on calling out min until I saw how high their postcount was” reads like a wolf, lost for villagers to push, suddenly seeing something unusual and having their pupils go wide, especially since Wazza did try to toss out weak reasoning against min early on. It seems like she just wanted that slot dead.
Aaaall villagers or extremely towny slots, except Aro, who she goes out of her way to mention she is “kind of curious” about. If there’s nobody in thread that Wazza is just egregiously ignoring, which I’m gonna check for later, then I think the scumteam is probably on the lower-posting side, which would track with Aro’s flip.
More surface-level stuff with Guava, who tends to be an easy villager to push off individual weird posts, from past experience with them.
Case on iaafr is long I’m not quoting it but it’s here. Looking through it… yeah, it’s not as solid a case as I thought, and I should have caught that as a tell. I’m too generous toward players who don’t strike me as powerwolves making bolder reads. It’s why I used to have that easy pocket button where I’d just trust everyone who sussed me.
I dunno what to make of these highlights. It’s too much information for my rbain at once. Pretty much all of the players highlighted are either strong townreads or wolfreads - lol, Leafia, and I are town, Arctic, Eliza, Zorvo I townread, themselves and Aro flipped wolf, Brad is the only one hanging in the balance, but if not bussing is genuinely his meta I’m willing to let that be. I guess it’s just,\,, trying to get a healthy mix of town and scum there. There’s too many interacting factors to make a solid call.
This is an interaction that interests me, because it feels like dota is saying exactly what Wazza wanted to hear, and Wazza jumps on that to reinforce “look how towny I am for making this case, please read it”.
Weird non-shade shade. Guava is still towny.
These are pretty neutral interactions with Magnus? It feels like Wazza’s not thinking about their slot as a potential misexecution. That could indicate partnership, but at this rate I think it might just be fear, trying to appeal to Magnus because she doesn’t see him as a potential misexecution, unlike iaafr/Zenon/min/guava
More “using Arctic to prop up her case on a villager” stuff. That was a tell I missed - despite appearing super confident in the iaafr case, which I townread her for, she consistently kinda placed Arctic in the front of her as a shield for any kind of ire she might actually get for it.
“I don’t think it’s scummy but it’s just what I wanted to point out” - she was trying to affirm my case without having to actually put any of her reputation on the line with it. Zorvo is town.
“Finding it interesting”… it reads here like Wazza wanted people to question why Achro was killed, waited around to see if it would happen, and then brought it up later in the day phase when nobody had said anything.
She cites Achro’s legacy here, but only a “don’t shoot consensus town” bit, not his actual reads. She’s tiptoeing around it. For reference, this was his shotlist:
Game was in RVS at this point, so I think this is prooobably
This is a point against Garfooled and Brad being scum, I think - Wazza clearly wanted people to go back through Achro’s legacy, but wasn’t willing to bring up the specific players in it herself to get credit for it.
Wazza was overly focused on me as a misexecution, probably because she was backing up t!Arctic’s incorrect read, and I should’ve caught it - she didn’t make any cases against me, she didn’t bring up scummy things I’d done independently, just reacted whenever someone else townread me. That’s not town behaviour.
Eevee is a weird one to throw in here, since the first two players she mentioned I hard townread, and the last I think she’s been unaligned from. Rule of four? Scum Eeeve would certainly track with the theory that Wazza’s scumbuddies are lowposting.
I think Wazza’s afraid of min, someone who she knows out of game, catching her, and is trying to incite shots here, but doesn’t really want to take the burden of killing him on herself. It’s a running theme here: she hides behind other people’s reads, questions at existing posts, objective facts like postcounts, that sort of thing, to push the misexecutions she wants.
Again, trying to get people to follow Achro’s shotlist. I think we have why Achro was killed, then.
I do not like this for Frost one bit. “Why suspect this player, who I’ve never mentioned outside this, and not the townie I’m pushing a misexe on?” That reads like trying to subtly talk someone out of a read on a partner. In hindsight, it’s not subtle at all.
IDT Eevee and Frost are both scum here? Wazza didn’t follow through on this, so it’s nothing concrete, but given how much she talks about townies and how little she talks about her scumbuddies, I dunno if she’d immediately go to mention two in one breath here.
TL;DR Most of Wazza’s interactions are either with people who are dead and flipped town, or ones that read unpartnered to my eye, a lot of chasing villagers for anything she can spot. This would mean that:
Wazza was largely ignoring her scumbuddies/they were lowposting, which tracks with Aro’s flip, and makes me eye slots like Maple/Frostwolf/eevee more, though there’s a comment that makes me think the latter two probably aren’t together. She also tiptoed around Zenon, who was highposting, a lot, except for a few comments suspecting villagers for townreading her, which is partnery.
Arctic is probably town off the way Wazza used him to shield herself from the iaafr push, guava and min are towny because of her opportunistic attitude toward them, and Garfooled and Brad were players I previously found scummy who look unpartnered with Wazza. They all move up at this rate.
Off that backread, my current worldview looks something like:
Town: Eliza, Arctic, Jar, Zorvo
Townlean: min, guava, Brad, Rajidae, Magnus
Neutral: Jaiden, Garfooled, dota, Kork, O kazo
Scum: Maple, Zenon, one of Frostwolf/eevee
I’m much more confident in the townreads than the scumreads here; I want to look more into my newer scumreads on their own merits, not just through Wazza’s iso.
