this is what I was referring to by snarky or demeaning, this combined with what artic said in DMS felt like he was mad at me for asking him to prompt Eliza which didn’t seem like an unreasonable request. I could’ve been kinder too bc my answer was sarcastic as well but it still felt like an unreasonable response to what I was asking

we are a lot less busy this round but personally it was very overwhelming the first couple rounds so I get the response

I’m glad that someone else feels about the same way as I do. This was the same response I got, where my feedback from “I’m not having a good time” was “you’re not supposed to have fun in this game”

That isn’t what I said, I said that some people wouldn’t have fun with this, the fun was matching in spite of having three people, and if people weren’t having fun with that aspect then there’s nothing we as the hosts can do to make it more fun.
Yes it’s not a problem because other people fun would be lowered if we changed the rules to make you have more fun, it wouldn’t be fair to the people already eliminated, nor the people still in the game and trying to win.
For the record I will chime in to say hosting word match is extremely stressful and I’m sure having 3 players per team makes it even worse, I would cut hosts some slack for not always being 100% accommodating or taking a little while to get back to you

Not everyone will be having fun and that’s fine, that is not a problem and I would appreciate if you didn’t try to pubicilly call out the hosts whenever they are just trying to run a game because you disagree with them.

“I’m not having fun personally” is not a concern you can address when there are like 10 people shouting words at you and you have to go record all of them at a moment’s notice.

- People are still trying to match
- We are going to shorten them the next round with less teams

And also, like, if you sign up for a game with a specific premise and end up not having fun with the premise because you inherently dislike it… there’s not much the hosts can do. It’s not their job to change the game.

It wouldn’t be fair for the people trying to match and if you aren’t having fun that’s a valid thing to think

i think “hey the phases are taking way too long and i’m unhappy in the game” is a reasonable concern, among the others i brought up
and saying “oh we’ll do it next round” doesn’t help my engagement with the game now
also dr bug asked why you said it wouldn’t be gamethrowing (screwing over our team) if i quit and then you instantly DQed our team without consultation
